Olivier Buquen

Deputy CEO, Financial Affairs and Group Performanc Chairman of Chargeurs Advanced Materials and Chargeurs Museum Studio

Olivier Buquen is the Deputy CEO of Chargeurs Group, in charge of Financial Affairs and Group Performance. A graduate of Essec Business School, Sciences Po Paris, and Harvard Business School, Olivier Buquen began his professional career in 1988 as head of communications for the Bolloré Group.

 In 1990, he joined the Finance Department of Paribas Bank. He becomes part of the Group’s General Secretariat in 1996 and then, in 1999, he becomes the COO of BNP Paribas Lease Group Italia in Milan.

Returning to France, Olivier Buquen continues his career within the Plastic Omnium industrial group. As a member of the Group’s Executive Committee from 2002 to 2009, he serves successively as Executive VP Business Development of Plastic Omnium Environment, CEO of Compagnie Signature (European leader in road signage, 230 million euros of revenues, 1,500 employees), then Executive VP Business Development for Plastic Omnium Group.

Olivier Buquen joins the French Administration in 2009 as Head of France’s Business Intelligence Office, reporting to the office of the President of the French Republic, until 2013, then State Controller at the Economic and Finance Ministry (2013-2016), and later the CFO of Chargeurs Group, before becoming Deputy CEO in 2024.
